Game Objective

Form the word OSO or SOS (depending on the game mode) with three consecutive letters on the board. Each completed word earns you one point!

How to Play

1. Select a letter (S or O) using the buttons
2. Click on an empty cell on the board to place the letter
3. If your move completes a word, you score a point and get another turn
4. In manual scoring mode, click on 3 cells to claim a word you've formed
5. Players alternate turns until all cells are filled or no more words can be formed

Game Options

• Board Size: Choose 5x5 (Small), 9x9 (Medium), or 12x12 (Large)
• Game Mode:
  • Player vs Player - Play with another person
  • Player vs AI - You play first against the computer
  • AI vs Player - The computer plays first
• Word to Form: Choose OSO or SOS (locked once the game starts)
• Scoring Mode:
  • Automatic - Words are detected and scored automatically
  • Manual - You must click on 3 cells to claim a word
• Round Trip: Play 2 consecutive games (you start one, opponent starts the other)

How to Form Words

You can form words in 8 different directions:

• Horizontal (left to right or right to left)
• Vertical (top to bottom or bottom to top)
• Diagonal (top-left to bottom-right)
• Diagonal (top-right to bottom-left)

Tips

• Plan ahead - think about where letters could form words
• Block your opponent - place letters to prevent them from scoring
• Look for multiple words - one move can complete several words at once
• Extra turn - scoring gives you another turn immediately
